OUR STORY

CHLOE'S VERSION
NOT TAYLOR'S VERSION
Zach and I met like most millennial couples - on a dating app. We were supposed to go to a yoga class on our first date but COVID mask mandates went back into effect so instead of trying to do downward dog with a mask on, we decided to take a Frejya on a walk to the park. Little did Zach know this gave me an excellent opportunity for get Frejya to give him a once over and see if he was potential “dog dad” material. Needless to say - Frejya approved.
When we went on that first walk, I was amazed Zach and I had so much overlap and so much in common. We both played a sport in college, We both had a doctor as a parent, both were the babies of the family… We even overlapped being in Dallas my senior year of high school and his college freshman year at SMU!
I knew I was going to marry Zach about 2 months into dating. If you know Zach you will know that he is easy going, kind, and actually pretty silly when you catch him in the right mood. He loves celebrating Christmas and getting ice cream after dinner. He always sees the best in people and is the first person to offer help to someone in need. He brings out the best in everyone around him, including me. Loving Zach is as easy as breathing … or overthinking (which comes pretty naturally to me!)
Zach asked me to marry him last March on top of Arthurs Rock - overlooking Fort Collins. I am so excited to start this next chapter of our lives together. Life is pretty darn good!

ZACH'S VERSION
Chloe and I met in Fort Collins in the fall of 2021. Her, Frejya and I went for a walk to the park and had some tasty Indian food! I had been looking on the east coast and Colorado for my person for a few years, and it turns out we’d been unknowingly chasing each other between Texas, Virginia and Colorado. I knew pretty quickly that I had finally found my person in Chloe.
We both enjoy a lot of the same activities, and our mutual love for adventure and dogs has drawn us closer together. From freezing our butts off and “post-holing” up a snow-packed hike a couple weeks into dating to see if each other could keep up, to raising and caring for our two dogs Frejya and Ajax, we’re always able to find a way to enjoy our time together.
Spending time with friends and loved ones is important to us, but we’re both also pretty independent. It’s important to both of us to balance social activities with finding time to unwind and recharge by “cave trolling” as Chloe likes to call it.
Chloe’s enthusiasm is contagious, and her zest for life always keeps me on my toes! Looking forward to whatever comes next together!
